Hi there, it's Wednesday and time for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration. This is a card I made a while back for my Dad's birthday. I used this beautiful image called "Lighthouse Shore".
I started by stamping the image on watercolor paper with black ink and colored with watercolor pencils. Once the image was colored I used a die from Spellbinders "Labels Eight" to cut and emboss the image, before I removed the image from the die, I used some gathered twigs distress ink to shade the edged of the stamped image. For the background I embossed a piece of paper with this fun Cuttlebug embossing folder and added some distress ink to the edges and embossed areas. As a final touch I added some stickles to the ocean on the stamped image.
Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to visit the HC Blog for tons of beautiful inspiration.
