Aster Jewelry Box

Hi friends, I have been playing with the Treasured Heart Gift Box die from Heartfelt Creations and made this little decorative jewelry box.  I did change the top instead of using the die design and created a new lid.
For the top and bottom I used 2 layers each of chipboard.  Bottom has one side with cardstock and one side with patterned paper.  Top has both sides with patterned paper.  For the sides I used 2 layers of cardstock with one layer of thick acrylic between the cardstock layers.
Thank you for your visit.

New Wild Rose Collection from Heartfelt Creations

Hi friends, very excited for our newest release from Heartfelt Creations.  Today my project features the Wild Rose collection

Every year I make custom calendars for my office and my husbands desk featuring favorite photos from the year before, I created a new clipboard display featuring the stamps, dies and paper from the Wild Rose collection.
All my flowers and leaves are made with foam paper.  I love the brand new Rose Hip stamens, for mine I covered them with crystal clear glitter.
Thank you for your visit.

New Celebrate the Season Collection from Heartfelt Creations

The time has come to once again “Celebrate the Season” with Heartfelt Creations!  Non-traditional in color, this new holiday themed collection showcases an assortment of exceptional winter hues…shades of teals, pinks, greens and violets resembling the northern lights, whites as crisp as freshly fallen snow and ice blues mimicking frozen ponds beneath the blades of gently gliding ice skates.  Four fanciful cling stamp sets filled with old fashioned themed illustrations of ornate sleighs, wooden gates, gifts, skates, mittens, and simple wreaths filled with poinsettias and greenery, along with an assortment of charming sentiments will bring feelings of nostalgia from Christmas past to all of your crafty creations while being paired with the contemporary color palette of Christmas present.  Three coordinating sets of dies will have you creating your very own dimensional embellishments perfect for holiday cards, layouts and altered art pieces.  Join us as we “Celebrate the Season” and get an early start to all of our holiday themed creating.

Had a lot of fun designing this paper collection and playing with this beautiful color palette and all the images, hope you enjoy all our samples on the HC Blog.

My project today is a wall hanging I created with a piece of chipboard and decorated with papers, stamps and die cuts from "Celebrate the Season".
I colored the stakes, presents and mittens with Spectrum Noir markers and the poinsettias, wreath and garland with distress inks.
Thank you for your visit.

Decorative Canvas

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a decorative canvas with hanger I made with papers from Heartfelt Creations.  I covered the front of the canvas with a piece of patterned paper.  I found a new podge and gave it a try, it's called "Angel Craft Podge", I love that it has a brush on the cap for application.
I did some mixed media techniques on a couple of places by adding texture with a stencil and molding paste, once dry I sprayed with different mists.

I covered the canvas and each paper layer with a coat of craft podge for protection, this also gave my project a semi-gloss finish.
Thanks for stopping by.

I added Stickles to the edges of the petals and around the pearls in the centers of the flowers.
I adhered a metal world plate to the outside of the suitcases.
