Heartfelt Creations Card

Hi everyone, welcome to my Wednesday post with Heartfelt Creations.  Today I want to share a card I made using several beautiful images and coordinating dies from Heartfelt Creations.  My inspiration for todays card came from The Color Room, color challenge and card sketch #68.  I used an image from the "Flourish Backgrounds" set to stamp the pink background paper with distress embossing ink and then heat embossed with holographic embossing powder, this flourish images make beautiful background papers.
I used the "Decorative Window Scene" die and cut 2 corners, I carefully trimmed any unwanted sections, don't they make the perfect little swirl.
Here is a closeup of the flowers, I used the "Botanical Floral" and "Posy Patch" flowers to create these little pretties.
I hope you enjoyed my card, don't forget to visit the HFC blog for tons of gorgeous projects.  Thank you for stoping by and until next time.

Heartfelt Creations Card

Good morning everyone, today I have a card featuring this beautiful image from Heartfelt Creations, the image is from the "Bella Rose Wedding" set, I stamped the image with watermark ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder and then colored with Stampin' Up watercolor pencils.  The sentiment is from the "Wedding Sentiments" set.  For the layout of the card I used sketch #64 from The Color Room and rotated it to accommodate how I wanted my card to look.  My inspiration for the color combo came from challenge #11 from Colour Q.
Here is a close up of the stamped image, I really like the sparkle of the silver embossing against the color of the rose.
I made the roses and little flowers with dies from the "Posy Patch" die set, added some leaves I stamped with an image from "Open Leaves" set and diecut with the coordinating die.
The silver swirls I made using the die from "Bella Rose" die set, also added some punched branches and silver adhesive pearls to the flowers.  If you get a chance make sure to stop by the HFC Blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT.  Thank you for stoping by and have a great day.

Happy 4th & a Card

Good morning everyone and Happy 4th of July, we are spending the day with family and friends, lots of good food and fun.  Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday.
So I have a quick post here, I have a card today featuring some stamps and coordinating dies from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  The layout of the card is based on sketch #60 from The Color Room, and the color combo is #28 also from The Color Room, these are both past challenges, but I just really liked the colors and sketch and had to give them a try.
I stamped the yellow paper with the "Wildflower ATC" stamp using tangerine chalk ink and applied some crystal Stickles to the edge of the paper.  For the flowers I used stamps and coordinating dies from "Flowers" and "Hibiscus" clear stamp sets, stamped them with eggplant envy ink from Stampin' Up, and shaped them with embossing tools.  The stamped leaves were made with the stamp and coordinating die from the "Hibiscus" stamp set, I stamped them with forest foliage ink from Stampin' Up, inked the edges with peeled paint distress ink and shaped with embossing tools.  Also added some punched leaves.
The sentiment is from the "Circles" clear stamp set, here you can see a close up of the flowers, added some stickles to the petals and adhesive rhinestone to the centers.
Thank you so much for stoping by and hope everyone has a wonderful day.

My Girl Layout

Good morning everyone, I had some time the other day to put together this layout, this is going to be part of an 8" x 8" album I'm putting together for my Mom.  I took this photo of Maria Easter of last year.  I used The Color Room challenge #64, great color combo.  Used a mixture of patterned papers, the yellow strip on the side I embossed with an embossing folder from Sizzix and inked the edges a bit with tea dye distress ink.
All the flowers are Prima, except for the crochet one, I made that my self.  The red sparkly swirls I made with a die from Heartfelt Creations and glitter paper from DCWV, the yellow leaves is a cardstock die-cut from K & Co.
Added some Stickles to the big yellow flower, for the crocket flower I used a button, for the others I used adhesive pearls and a glitter brad from MM.  Also added some leaves I made with a Sizzix die.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, hope you have a great day.
