Inky Impressions Challenge #IIC36

Hi everyone, this is my second post today.  It's time for another great challenge over at Inky Impressions.  Our challenge today is to use ribbon, we want to see ribbon and more ribbon.  For my card i have used the darling little "Maddie the Elf", you can find her at the Inky Impressions online store.  I threaded the ribbon through the diecut and then placed gold adhesive pearls on top.
I had some fun coloring little Maddie, I used my Prismacolor pencils and OMS for blending.  The image was stamped twice, one for the background and one for Maddie which I cut with scissors and adhered with pop dots for dimension.
Hope you can join our challenge, make sure to link your creations over at the Ink Impressions Challenge Blog for a chance to win this week's price.  Thank you so much for your visit.

Angelica

  2. I love your ribbon treatment. If those are adhesive pearls and not brads as I first thought, how did you get the ribbon to pinch in like that? I really must find time to create so that I can try out some of the great ideas I am seeing.
