Celebrate!

Happy Friday and welcome to another vintage post.  My card today features this fun vintage inspired mini banner from Stampin' D'Amour, this image is part of their "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set.  My color scheme is based on the color challenge over at the Embellish Blog, this challenge also incorporates a crochet trim, which I'm not sure if the trim I used is crochet or not ;o)
For the base of the card I used an image from the Cricut "Sentimentals" cartridge, I really like the shape, it's a little different and fun.  I used some flocked papers I found in my stash, love the feel on them and the texture they add to the card.
The little banner was stamped on yellow and blue paper and then cut out every other letter and glued to the twine, added some tiny little pearls and stickles to the edge of each pennant.  Hope you enjoyed my project, thank you for stopping by and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a blessed Easter.
