Inky Challenge

Welcome Inky Fans, hope everyone is having a great week so far.  It's time for some Inky Impressions inspiration and our weekly Inky Impressions Challenge, our challenge this week is to make a "Shaped Card", how fun is this!!!  This week one lucky winner will receive an Inky Digi and if you use an Inky Image on your card you will be eligible for a special Inky Prize Pack.
I used my Cricut Expression and an image from the "Storybook" cartridge, I shaped it and sized it in the Cricut Craft Room software to get the exact size I wanted.  The darling image I used is "Christopher's Catch", this is one of their new images, I stamped on Wausau paper and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils, I absolutely love how the pencils work with this particular paper.
Here is a closeup, I stamped the image twice, one for the background and the other I cut with scissors and adhered with pop dots.  I also added some glazed dimensions to the water.
This sketch was my inspiration for my layout, I can't help my self when it comes to layering ;o)
Thank you for stopping by and hope you can join in the fun, you can find all the Inky Challenge details here, can't wait to see your creations.

  5. This is beautiful! Love that shape you have used. I want a cricut sooo much! I would love to be able to create shaped cards like that without having to buy them in packs of like 10 from craft stores, and even then they only do a few shapes and you can never get what you want.
I also have a thing about swirls/flourish so I would love to be able to cut my own on the cricut....oh well, I can dream lol.
Love how you have coloured Christopher and those papers are lovely.
