Instructions:
Finished card size is 7” tall by 4 3/4” wide.
With large gate die from Scalloped Florish Gateway, cut 2 panels from white cardstock, 2 panels from green Cardstock, with scolloped die, cut one piece from white cardstock, with smaller gate die, cut one panel from patterned paper, using decorative pieces cut one gate panel from white cardstock. Cut a piece of white cardstock 2” x 4 3/4”, score at center, this makes the hinge for the fold of the card, glue on top of white panels. Cut a piece of green cardstock 4 3/4” wide by 6 1/2”, score at 1/2”, 2”, 4” and 5” fold to form the step section of the card, glue the 1/2” flap to the white cardstock base. Glue the green panels to white cardstock base. Glue white scalloped panel and patterned paper panel as pictured. Glue white decorative gate as pictured. Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 3/4” x 7”, score at 3 3/4”, fold and glue to back of card, this creates the stand.
Stamp the following on watercolor paper with with the following inks:
Tree, Cottage, Potted Plants - Slate ink
Leaves on tree, grass, bushes and any other greenery - Clover
Stamp flowers on deluxe flower shaping paper:
Sweet Peony flowers - broken china, Vibrant Fuchsia
French Cottage ’scapes Flowers - Vibrant Fuchsia
Cut all stamped images with the corresponding dies.
For the cottage, tree, tree leaves, grass, potted plants and other greenery I used Distress ink pad re-inker inks to color my images (colors used are listed in supply list) but you can use your favorite coloring supplies. For the flowers I colored them with the same colors I used to stamp them. Shape tree leaves with flower shaping kit. Shape all the Sweet Peony flowers using the Floral Basics Shaping Mold and finish the shaping with the shaping tools. Shape the small French Cottage ’scapes flowers with the flower shaping kit.
Add flower stamens to all flowers.
Glue all pieces to your card base to form the scene as pictured, I used glue on some pieces and foam dots on others for extra dimension. Glue one of the grass patches with foam dots to the bottom panel to make the stop point for the step. Add some leafy branches and glue flowers on top as pictured. Cut a tag from patterned paper and stamp your sentiment, glue with foam dots as pictured. Add some glitter to the flowers and the windows on the cottage.
