Merci Stampin' D'Amour

Good Friday morning everyone, today is my last post for Stampin' D'Amour, I had lots of fun designing with their beautiful images and got to design alongside the wonderful and talented Jen and Pamela, thank you ladies.  My card features two of my favorite images from the "French Vintage" clear stamp set, I stamped the images with baroque burgandy ink from Stampin' Up on white cardstock.  The layout of the card is based on sketch #199 from Mojo Monday, I also followed this week's challenge #70 over at The Shabby Tea Room.
Used several flowers, the large flower I misted with vanilla Smooch Spritz and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, I got this technique from my very best friend Velma.  Also added a combination of punched leaves in different cardstock colors.
Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time and have a great day.

Stampin' D'Amour Friday

Good morning and welcome to my Friday post with Stampin' D'Amour.  Today I have a fun birthday card full of bright happy colors, I used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set from Stampin' D'Amour.  The layout of the card is based on the sketch from VLV, July week 1, great sketch and lots of fun to work with.  The paper is from an old collection by Making Memories called "Emery", I paired it with red cardstock.  Used some white seam binding for the bow, the scalloped edge on the circle I created with a Martha Stewart border punch.
The little doily looking flowers I made with a border punch from EK Success called "Abstract Flower Chain", I adhered with a pop dot and added a button for the center.  I also added some Stickles to the edges of all the patterned paper layers for a touch of sparkle.
Thank you so much for stoping by and hope you have a wonderful day.

Stampin' D'Amour and Mojo Monday

Hi everyone, it's Friday and time for a project featuring Stampin' D'Amour.  My card features an image from the "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set.  I started by cutting the card base and the patterned paper with the Cricut, I used an image from the "Sentiments" cartridge and sized the image on Design Studio.  The patterned paper is from "Que Sera, Sera" by K & Co., I really like the colors and patterns on this paper collection.
I stamped the image on white cardstock, then stamped the cupcake 3 times, one on the yellowish patterned paper, one on the brown paper, and one on yellow cardstock, cut out all the pieces and paper pieced together, shaded the cupcake top and candle with spiced marmalade distress ink.
As a final touch I added some ribbon, a few flowers from Prima, some punched leaves, and adhesive rhinestones, and don't forget a touch of Stickles on the flowers for an extra touch of sparkle.
Here is my inspiration for the layout, another great sketch from Mojo Monday.  Thank you for stoping by and have a great day.

The lady image I stamped with black archival ink on cream colored cardstock and shaded with distress ink, I used a Sakura gelly roll pen to add some sparkle to the image.  Also added some Prima flowers and punched leaves to coordinate with the colors on the punched strips of patterned paper and the frame on the stamped image.
Thank you so much for stoping by and hope you have a great day.  Until next time.

Bonjour Vintage Tag

Welcome to Friday with Stampin' D'Amour, today I have a fun vintage inspired tag with lots of pink, very girly!!!  The Eiffel tower image and sentiment are from the "French Vintage" clear stamp set.  I started with glimmer misting a tag using caramel apple glimmer mist and a glimmer screen from the "Fanciful" set.
The flower I made with crepe paper, I found this fun tutorial on the Artful Affirmations blog so I gave it a try, very fun and easy to make.  For the image in the center of the flower, I stamped it on white cardstock, cut with a Spellbinders circle die and embossed, I then slightly inked it with walnut stain ink.  I took one of those Making Memories circle rims for the tag maker, I sanded it to make the surface of it rough, applied some embossing ink and heat embossed with walnut stain distress embossing powder, I ended up doing about 4 layers until it looked like old metal.
The sentiment I stamped on a tiny tag and inked with distress ink and added some glitter to the edges, I used a little jump ring to attach the tag to the tulle bow.  Thank you for stoping by and hope you have a wonderful day.
Supplies:
Size:  2 1/2" x 5 1/4"

Stampin' D'Amour Friday

Good morning and welcome, today I have a card I made with this vintage label image from Stampin' D'Amour, this image is part of their "French Vintage" clear stamp set, I used sketch #194 from Mojo Monday for my layout inspiration.  Since the design uses lots of small pieces I went through my scrap folders and found lots of green and brown patterns.
I stamped the image on green patterned paper, diecut with a Spellbinders circle die and covered with Crackle Accents.  For the brown decorative tag I used a die from the "Fleur De Lis Accents" set, cut and embossed, I then used the die to trace the outside of the shape on green patterned paper and cut with scissors.  Adhered everything with pop dots to add some dimension.  Thank you so much for stoping by and hope you have a wonderful day.

For the strip of vellum I used an embossing border folder from the "Organic" set, the butterflies I diecut and embossed with the "Combo Butterflies" set from Cuttlebug.  The red cardstock was embossed with the "Victoria" folder, I added a couple of glitter brads and some Stickles to the edge of the patterned paper, the vellum and the vellum butterfly for some sparkle.

Stampin' D'Amour ATC Tutorial

Welcome to Stampin' D'Amour Friday, today I have a tutorial on how to make this very sparkly and vintage inspired ATC.  I used the lady image from the "French Vintage" clear stamp set and the birthday sentiment from "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set.
I started by choosing a cream colored patterned paper with a beautiful floral white pattern.
Next I trimmed the patterned paper to match the ATC card size 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and inked the edges with old paper distress ink.
Inked all the edges and adhered the patterned paper to the ATC piece.
Next, I trimmed a piece of double-sided adhesive to match the ATC size.
I carefully peeled one side off the adhesive and adhered to the patterned paper.
Once completely adhered to the patterned paper I carefully peeled the top protective paper.
Using a bead or glitter tray, I completely covered the adhesive with micro fine glitter, making sure to shake off all excess glitter.
On a stamping mat (love it, makes a huge difference on your stamped images), I placed my glittered ATC and stamped the vintage lady image with black archival ink.
I then stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment using the same ink.
Once everything was stamped, I colored the lady image with a Marvy marker and the blender pen.
I took a piece of adhesive back metal and cut one edge with the scalloped edge scissors.
I adhered the metal to the edge of the ATC, making sure the scalloped edge was placed on the front of the image.
I love the finished look of the cooper metal all around the image, it also protects the edges so the adhesive will not start lifting from the patterned paper.  Look at all that sparkle!!!
As a final touch I added some fibers and a button.  I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial, thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day.

Supplies:
Size:  2 1/2" x 3/12"

Image Colored With:  Marvy LePlum II (13 Ochre, 0 Blender Pen)

Celebrate!

Happy Friday and welcome to another vintage post.  My card today features this fun vintage inspired mini banner from Stampin' D'Amour, this image is part of their "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set.  My color scheme is based on the color challenge over at the Embellish Blog, this challenge also incorporates a crochet trim, which I'm not sure if the trim I used is crochet or not ;o)
For the base of the card I used an image from the Cricut "Sentimentals" cartridge, I really like the shape, it's a little different and fun.  I used some flocked papers I found in my stash, love the feel on them and the texture they add to the card.
The little banner was stamped on yellow and blue paper and then cut out every other letter and glued to the twine, added some tiny little pearls and stickles to the edge of each pennant.  Hope you enjoyed my project, thank you for stopping by and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a blessed Easter.
