"Joy To The World" Tag

With the holidays approaching a lot faster than I want them too ;o) and having these gorgeous stamps from Heartfelt Creations around, it's just so easy to get inspired and create some Christmas projects.  I though this tag would make a great Christmas tree ornament, it's one of the big tags 8 1/2" tall by 4 1/8" wide, the "Lg. Cardinal Pine Bough" stamp fit perfectly on it.  Did tons of hand cutting (all those pine needles), had fun with the glimmer mist, and as always enjoyed my self doing some serious coloring.
Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations
HCPC 3350 Lg. Cardinal Pine Bough
HCPC 3323 Large Elegant Word Background
HCPC 3346 Joyous Noel
HCPC 3340 Holly Leaves
HCPC 3316 Poinsettia Petals
HCD 705 Holly/Snowflake Diecuts
HCD 704 Perfect Petals Diecuts
HCD 706 Cardinal Family Diecuts

Inks; StazOn (Jet Black), VersaMark Watermark, Distress Ink (Forest Moss, Vintage Photo), Dew Drop (Pearlescent Beige)
Paper; Canson "Fanboy", Bazzill, patterned paper
Other; 8 1/2" x 4 1/8" Tag, Prismacolors Pencils, OMS, Sizzix Embossing folder (Damask #4), MS border punch, Glimmer Mist (Caramel Apple, Wheatfields), Embossing powder (Red Dragon), Dristress Stickles (Peeled Paint), MS micro beads (yellow barite), Gelly Rol Stardust Pen (Yellow), ribbon, rhinestones

Instructions:
Spray tag with two colors of Glimmer Mist, ink edges with vintage photo distress ink, stamp Elegant Word background with pearlescent beige Dew Drop, emboss with embossing folder, and add some more vintage photo distress ink to make the embossing pop a bit more, punch bottom of tag with border punch.  Stamp twice Lg. Cardinal Pine Bough on Canson paper with StazOn, color one image completely, the other one just color the cardinal, hand cut the complete pine bough, for the second cardinal image use the coordinating Cardinal Family Die, adhere with pop dots as pictured.  Stamp the smallest Perfect petal twelve times on red paper with watermark ink and heat emboss with red dragon embossing powder, layer six petals to a layer (2 layers) this makes the small poinsettia, add some micro beads for the center.  For the large poinsettia, stamp two petal sizes eight times each and heat emboss, layer and add micro beads to center.  Stamp holly leaves on green cardstock, two large and three small with forest moss distress ink, die cut with coordinating Holly die, and add some distress stickles.  Stamp "Joy To The World" sentiment on green cardstock, hand cut and ink edges with distress ink, adhere everything as pictured, add some red rhinestones and ribbon for hanging for the final touch.
