Framed Swans Card

Hi friends, I have a card today I made with the new "Sweet Serenity" collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I started by layering 3 coordinating patterned papers from the "Posy Patch" paper collection.  I stamped and heat embossed the "Vintage Floret Frame" with gold embossing powder on dark blue patterned paper and cut with the coordinating die.

I stamped the swan image from "Feathered Friends" on watercolor paper and colored with watercolor paints.  Also added some glitter to the water.

Here is a closeup of the flowers, also heat embossed.

I covered the filigree metal corners with embossing ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder to match the gold embossing on the edge of the paper and stamped frame.

I adhered the frame with pop dots for dimension.

Instructions:

Size:  5 1/8" x 7"

Stamp "Vintage Floret Frame" on dark blue patterned paper with watermark ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder, cut with coordinating die, add gold mini brads to corners.  Cut a piece of light blue patterned paper slightly larger than the frame, ink edges with iced spruce distress ink.  Cut a piece of cream patterned paper larger than light blue piece, ink edges with distress ink.  Cut a piece of brown patterned paper larger than cream piece, ink edges with watermark ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.  Stamp swan image from "Feathered Friends" set on watercolor paper with black ink, cut image with Spellbinder circle die, color with watercolor paint, adhere some glitter to the water with Dries clear adhesive.  Stamp the following flowers on dark blue patterned paper with watermark ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder, Mini Vintage Floret; 1-small, Open Vintage Floret; 2-small, cut with coordinating dies, shape with paper blossoms tool kit.  Adhere all the layers of paper as pictured.  Adhere swan image making sure to align it to the frame.  Adhere frame with pop dots for dimension.  Adhere flowers, add glitter to center of flowers.  Take 4 filigree metal corners, cover with watermark ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder so they match the color of the embossed image, adhere to corners as pictured.
