New Sunny Day Collection from Heartfelt Creations

Hi everyone, it's time to unveil another fantastic new release from Heartfelt Creations.  You are going to LOVE our new "Sunny Day" collection.

The Sunny Day Collection captures the tranquility of a sunny day in the garden.  Setting the tone with serene garden views and peaceful plant and butterfly harmonies is the Sunny Day Paper Collection. Stamps include bustling bees, a vintage watering can and botanical butterfly medleys.  The Decorative Butterfly Corner Die in this collection will add unique versatility to any project.

Leave a comment on the HC Blog by February 19th and you will be eligible to win the entire release.

And here is my project for today.   I created the half doily with one of our new corner dies, love the detail and how you can make a corner or a full doily with one die.
I stamped the images on watercolor paper and colored them with Inktense pencils.  I also added some Stickles to the butterfly wings.
Here is a closeup of the bow I made with seam binding and the cluster of posy flowers with a pearl pin.
Make sure to visit the HC Blog for tons of inspiration and leave a comment for a chance at winning the complete collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Angelica

Cut a piece of patterned paper from the "Sunny Day" collection, mat with white cardstock.  Using small die from "Decorative Butterfly Corner" die set, cut twice from white cardstock to make half doily.  Stamp butterfly image from "Butterfly Medley" set twice on watercolor paper with black ink, color with Inktense pencils.  Base image cut with die from "Labels Twenty Six", second image use butterfly die from "Les Papillions" set and cut only the butterfly, slightly shape the wings.  Using the same die from "Labels Twenty Six", trace outer edge on a dark patterned paper and cut with scissors, use this piece to mat the stamped image.  Stamp 10 small posy flowers from "Posy Patch" set on yellow cardstock with black ink, cut with coordinating die, add some shading with wild honey distress ink, shape flowers with paper blossoms tool kit.  Adhere everything as pictured, adhere the stamped image with pop dost, make a bow with seam binding.  Add some pearls, a pin, and some glitter to the butterfly.
