Christmas Ornament

Hi friends, I felt like working on some Christmas ornaments last week and today I have one here to share with you.  I used some pretty ornamental dies and paper from Heartfelt Creations to create the main shape of the ornament.
For the poinsettia I stamped several size poinsettias on patterned paper with white ink, cut them with the coordinating dies and shaped them.  I added some fun coarse glitter to the edge of the petals.
I threaded crystal beads through the center of the glued die cuts, these make the ornament sparkle beautifully.
If you have a few minutes to spare stop by the HC Blog and take a look at all the gorgeous projects the design team has created.

Thank you so much for your visit today.

Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations

Inks:  CTMH (White Daisy)
Accessories:  Ribbon, Martha Stewart Glitter (Crystal Coarse), crystal beads, wire

Instructions:
Size:  9"
Die cut 5 each of two decorative shapes from the "Decorative Metal Fixtures" die set from gray patterned paper.  Stamp the following poinsettias on burgundy patterned paper with white ink; 1-small, 1-next size up, 2-next size up, cut with coordinating dies, shape with paper blossoms tool kit.  Using a score board, score each die cut shape down the center and fold in half.  Adhere each half of the die cuts to each other making sure to leave the last two halves open, do this for both shapes.  Take a piece of wire, thread your favorite crystal beads and place wire on the open side of the shapes, adhere together.  Make a bow and adhere as pictured, adhere poinsettia, add some glitter to petals.
