Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!!!  I have a couple of projects to share with you today, my first one is actually my very first try at a recessed window card, I loved making this project and I'm most likely going to make some more with this technique.  I used some of the images from the "Bella Rose" collection released last week, aren't these just a gorgeousness!!!!!
Had fun with all the cutting and layering.
The butterfly was heat embossed with copper embossing powder on white vellum and added some color with Twinkling H2O's.
I used a die from the Spellbinders "Floral Doily Accent" set for the base of the sentiment.

Image Colored With:  Prismacolor Pencils (PC946 Dark Brown, PC911 Olive Green, PC1033 Mineral Orange)
Paper: Bazzill Cardstock, 110 Lb. Wausau paper, Chatterbox, flocked paper, vellum
Other:  Stickles (Yellow), Spellbinders (Standard Circles Large, Floral Doily Accent, Fanciful Flight), Want2Scrap adhesive rhinestones (orange), OMS, Scallop PC paper shapers, Twinkling H2O's (Egyptian gold), Sakura 3D ink glaze pen, Quickutz die, Martha Stewart border punch (iron gate), Hampton Art embossing powder (copper), pop dots

Instructions:
Size:  5 3/4" x 7 1/4"
Cut base of card and make the recessed window (you can find a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers or YouTube) with brown cardstock.  Cut a piece of blue paper, stamp leaf image from "Bella Rose Vase" set with prussian blue ink to make background design, adhere in recessed window.  Stamp lattice image twice from "Bella Lattice Background" on white Wausau paper with black archival ink and color with Prismacolor pencils, color image 1 completely,  on image 2 just color the roses and leaves, cut all white areas out with scissors/craft knife from image 1, image 2, cut only colored roses/leaves.  Stamp the rose and large rose bud from "Classic Bella Rose" set on Wausau paper, color and cut with coordinating dies from "Bella Rose" die set, shape all your cut pieces with an embossing tool and adhere with pop dots for dimension, adhere completed lattice image to recessed window with pop dots.  Cut strips of patterned paper and form a frame around the recessed window as pictured, cut strips of brown cardstock, punch border and adhere around window making a frame as pictured.  Stamp butterfly from "Bella Rose House" on vellum with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with copper embossing powder, cut with coordinating die from "Fanciful Flight" set, add some color with H2O's, adhere with pop dot.  Stamp sentiment from "Inspire Me Sentiments" on white cardstock with black ink (I stamped the word "with" first and then the word "love" beneath it), cut and emboss with circle die, slightly ink and cut scallop edge with scallop scissors.  Diecut and emboss a fancy tag from "Floral Doily Accent" from brown cardstock, adhere stamped sentiment and tag with pop dots as pictured.  For the hinges I used a die from Quickutz and altered it a bit, adhere some rhinestones and add some stickles to the roses.

My second card I created using some of the beautiful images from the "Springtime Cardinal" Collection.  Did lots of punching and diecutting here.

Added some flowers I diecut and shaped for dimension.
Couldn't help my self with all the bling, just had to have some sparkle.  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and hope you get a chance to stop by the HFC Blog so you can see all the beautiful works of art my DT sisters have created.  Have a beautiful and creative day.
