Merry Christmas Card

Hi friends, sharing a Christmas card I made with the Candlelit Christmas Collection form Heartfelt Creations.

Size:  6” x 8”
Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations and Supplies Carried by HC

Inks:  Distress ink (fired brick, mowed lawn, faded jeans)
Image Colored With:  Prismacolor Pencil (White), Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers (LG1, LG2, LG5, LY1, CT4, OR1, BG3, TB2, TB5, PP1, DR4, DR3, DR7, Blender marker)
Paper:  Recollections Christmas Mercury Glass Cardstock, AW 89lb. Curious Iridescent Cryogen white cardstock, 
Accessories:  Red Adhesive pearls, foam dots

Instructions:  Finished size of card is 6” x 8”.  Make base of card with white cardstock, cut panel of patterned paper slightly smaller than card base, ink edges with blue ink, glue to card base.  Using the 3 smallest rectangle dies from Eyelet Rectangle set, cut 4 of each - eyelet rectangle, white cardstock, next size down - red mirror cardstock, smallest rectangle - blue patterned paper.  Ink edges of patterned paper with blue ink, ink edges of mirror cardstock (if white core) with red ink.  Layer all panels and glue with foam dots as pictured making 4 panels.  Adhere panels to base of card as pictured.

Stamp lantern on white cardstock with black ink, cut with coordinating die and color with alcohol markers.  Shape slightly with large stylus on back of image, glue to upper right panel with foam dots as pictured.

Stamp sentiment on white cardstock with blue ink, cut shape with ticket die, ink edges and shade with blue ink.  Cut another ticket slightly larger with scissors from red mirror cardstock, ink edges with red ink.  Cut 2 border pieces with die from Starry Night Decorative die set from white cardstock, piece several sections together to make decorative border around ticket.  Glue blue ticket to red piece with foam dots, glue tickets to decorative border with glue, adhere complete piece as pictured with foam dots.

Stamp holly, holly branches and poinsettias on deluxe flower shaping paper with Emerald Green and Red Geranium inks, cut with coordinating dies and color with fired brick and mowed lawn distress inks.  Shape holy leaves and poinsettias with shaping mold, finish flowers by shaping centers with stylus.  Shape holly branches with flower shaping kit.  Adhere holly branches, holly leaves and flowers as pictured.  Take gold bead stamens, cut wire and glue to centers of flowers with hot glue.  Adhere some red adhesive pearls on holy.  Add glitter to flower petals and background paper panels for a little sparkle.
