Hi there, can you believe we are already in May!!! Today I want to share with you a wall hanging I made using some of the beautiful images and coordinating dies from Heartfelt Creations. For the base I used a chipboard piece from a mini album, I covered it with sticky canvas and colored the canvas with several shades of Gelatos.
Hope you have enjoyed my project today and until next time.
Inks: Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black), Distress Ink (forest moss), StazOn (Olive Green) VersaMark watermark ink
Paper: Bazzill Basics Cardstock (Green, dark green), Cardstock (Cream), Canson 140lb. cold press watercolor paper, Claudine Hellmuth sticky-back canvas
Accessories: 6" x 6" chipboard shape, MM silver brads, distress crackle paint (peeled paint), Folk Art acrylic paint (Metallic Peridot), Hampton Arts embossing powder, natural raffia, Silver eyelets, pop dots
Size: 6" x 6"
Paint chipboard shape edges with acrylic paint. Trace chipboard shape on sticky canvas and cut with scissors, color with a combination of green and some blue Gelatos, adhere to chipboard, using the two leafy branch images from "Woodland Growth", stamp all over the colored canvas with olive green StazOn to create a background, apply some distress crackle paint to edges and let dry. Punch two holes and attach silver eyelets, attach some natural raffia with silver brads. Stamp image from "Palisade Farmstead" with black ink on watercolor paper, watercolor with Gelatos, cut with large die from Labels Twenty, adhere with pop dots. Stamp windmill tower and wheel with watermark ink on watercolor paper and heat emboss with silver embossing powder, cut with coordinating dies, color wheel with Gelatos, adhere together and place a silver brad in center of wheel as pictured, adhere with pop dots. Stamp and cut with coordinating dies the following flowers from "Botanical Floral 1" on cream cardstock with black ink; 2-small, 2-medium. From "Botanical Floral 2"; 3-small, 3-medium, stamp leaves on green cardstock with black ink; 5-small, 4-medium. Shade flowers and leaves with Gelatos, shape with paper blossoms tool kit. Cut 2 decorative swirls from "Decorative Dutch Iris" die set from dark green cardstock. Adhere everything as pictured, add some silver Gala Glitz to center of flowers.
I really like how you embossed the windmill and made it silver! Nice touch!ReplyDelete
