Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Hi everyone, are you ready for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration!!!  Here is my card for today.  I have used some of the new images from the "My Guy" collection, don't you love these images.  For the background I used the "Basketweave Background" image, I stamped it all over the paper and added some shading with vintage photo distress ink.
My image here is from the "Western Collage" set, I stamped it 6 times and colored with Spectrum Noir markers and Prismacolor color pencils, cut all the little pieces and layered for the dimension.
Here is a closeup of the image, by the time I was done with the hat it had 5 layers.
I used some clear distress crackle paint on the edge of the background paper and covered the "Decorative Window" diecut, love the final result.
Thank you so much for stopping by, please hop over to the HC Blog for tons of gorgeous inspiration.  Have a wonderful and creative day.

Angelica

Cut a piece of dark brown cardstock for base of card.  Cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller, stamp basketweave background all over paper to create a background design, slightly add some vintage photo distress ink around some areas of the stamped image, distress edges of paper with distress tool, ink edges with vintage photo distress ink, apply crackle paint around the edge, adhere to cardstock.  Stamp image from "Western Collage" set 6 times on white cardstock, color with markers and Prismacolor pencils, base image cut and emboss with large die from "Standard Circles Small" set, before removing image from die, slightly ink edge with distress ink.  On the other 5 images, I cut different areas to create the dimensional image, using a embossing tool slightly shape all the cut pieces, adhere with pop dots or liquid dimensional adhesive.  Cut a circle from dark brown cardstock using the large die from Standard Circles Large and mat the stamped image.  Cut two "Decorative Window" shapes and trim off the smaller half of the diecut, cover with crackle paint, glue to back of stamped image.  Stamp sentiment from "Western Sentiments" set on white cardstock with black ink, color with markers and Prismacolor pencils, shade slightly with distress ink, mat with brown cardstock.  Adhere everything as pictured, adhere the stamped images with pop dots, add some mesh fiber, attach brads.
