Classic Christmas Collection by Heartfelt Creations

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday and Heartfelt Creations.  I want to share with you the beautiful new collection from Heartfelt Creations releasing today, the Classic Christmas Collection, features 6 new precut stamp sets that coordinate with the Heirloom Ornaments 2011 and the Labels Seven Spellbinders dies. The classic images in this collection are perfect "not only" for your Christmas projects but very versatile and you will find yourself using them throughout the entire year!

Leave a comment on the Heartfelt Creations blog by October 18 for a chance to win the entire release valued at $89.99.

For my card I used this beautiful image from the "Nativity Scene" set, I stamped the image on watercolor paper with brown StazOn and colored with the walnut stain distress re-inker.  I went ahead and changed the background patterned papers just a bit, I took the music sheet image from the "Book Frame 1" set and stamped it all over the paper with brown StazOn ink.  I also used the beautiful "Lace Border" die to add more detail to the design.
Here is a closeup of the image, I added a touch of Stickles to the star.  The sentiment is from the "Shepherd Scene" set.
The poinsettia I made with the small stamp from the "Petite Poinsettia" set and cut with the coordinating die from the "Layered Poinsettia" die set.  For the leaves I used one of the small dies from "Holly/Snowflake" die set.
Make sure to stop by the HFC Blog and take a peek at all the gorgeous projects by the DT.  Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of patterned paper and stamp the music sheet image from "Book Frame 1" set all over paper with brown StazOn, ink edges with walnut stain distress ink, mat with brown cardstock.  Cut a small rectangle of coordinating patterned paper, stamp background same as above, ink edges and mat with cardstock.  Using the "Lace border" die cut the shape from brown cardstock.  Stamp the image from "Nativity Scene" on watercolor paper with brown StazOn ink and color with distress re-inkers, cut with the largest die from "Labels Fifteen", emboss and ink edges with walnut stain distress ink.  Using the same die, trace outer edge on brown cardstock and cut with scissors, use this shape to mat stamped image.  Stamp sentiment from "Shepherd Scene" set on coordinating cream colored paper with brown ink, cut and emboss with banner die from "Ribbon Banners" set, shade with walnut stain distress ink, using same die, trace outer edge on brown cardstock and cut with scissors, mat sentiment image.  Stamp 3 of the smallest flowers from "Petite Poinsettia" set on cream colored paper with brown ink, cut with coordinating die, ink edges with walnut stain ink and shape with embossing tools.  Using the small leaf die from "Holly/Snowflake" die set, cut 3 leaves from brown cardstock, shape with embossing tools.  Adhere everything as pictured, use pop dots to adhere the sentiment banner.  Add some seam binding and bow, ad some copper brads.  Glue the poinsettia and leaves together with some punched little branches, attach a copper brad to center, adhere to bow, add some cinnamon stickles to the poinsettia petals and the edge of the paper on the rectangle.  Add some diamond stickles to the star in the Nativity image.  I had to change the color on the metal filigree corner from bronze to copper by applying some copper alcohol ink and blending solution until I got the desired color.
