Prickley Pear Release Party Day 3

Hi everyone, here we are on our 3rd and last day of Prickley Pear's release party.  We are showcasing our new release of 10 clear stamp sets and four coordinating dies.  The sets have beautiful autumn and winter themed images and sentiments perfect for Autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving and winter season projects.

To celebrate this new release we are having a three day long Blog Party with loads of inspiration and a huge giveaway!  One happy participant will win four of the new clear stamp sets and four coordinating dies.  All you have to do is leave a comment on each of the participating blogs and tell us what you think about the new release.  The winner will be drawn randomly at one of the blogs, one of the days and will be presented at the Prickley Pear Blog on Wednesday next week.

The sets we are showcasing today are:

Today I have 2 cards to share with you.  Here is my first card, I used the sentiment and snowflake border from the "Circles Winter Set", i started by diecutting the scalloped circle and then I stamped the border and sentiment with black ink.  For the background I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug, this one is called "Christmas Countdown", to make the embossed area pop I rubbed some gold Inka-Gold paint over it.
Here is a closeup, the holly leaves are from the "Holly and Berries Set", I diecut them with the coordinating die and stamped with gold paint on green patterned paper.  Also added some touches with a gold pen to the snowflake stamped circle.

This wonderful sketch was my inspiration for the layout of my card, thank you Chupa.
Supplies:
Size:  5" x 6 1/2"
Stamps:  Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps (Holly & Berries Set, Circles Set Winter)
Inks:  Ranger Archival ink (jet black)
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey (Fruitcake, Wassail)
Accessories:  PPRS dies (Holly and Berries Die, Scalloped Circle), Viva Inka-Gold (old gold), ribbon, Recollections adhesive pearl, Cuttlebug embossing folder (Christmas Countdown), Martha Stewart border punch (Aspen Snowflake), Prima flower, Marvy Metallic pen (gold), Sharpie paint pen (gold), pop dots
Challenges:  Iwona Palamountain Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #18

For my second card I kept my color scheme in the classic Christmas colors, I made the wreath with the holly stamp and coordinating die, I just shaped them slightly with an embossing tool and glued all the leaves to a circle I cut with 2 Spellbinders' circle dies.
I stamped the partridge twice on white cardstock with black ink, shaded with walnut stain distress ink, cut out with scissors, the second image I only used the wing and adhered everything with pop dots.
Well that's it for me, make sure you visit everyone's blogs so you can participate in the grand prize drawing.  Thank you for joining us on our release party.  Hope you come back because will be showcasing lots more new images.
Have a wonderful day.

Angelica
