Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Hi everyone, can you believe we are in the middle of August already, summer just flew by!  My little one started school on Monday so our household is back to our regular schedule and I'm back on taxi duty.  It's Wednesday, and you know what that means, time for a Heartfelt Creations project.  Today I have a card I created using their new die from the "Decorative Layered Basket" die set, I have to say this is a must have for any cardmaker or scrapbooker.  I can see fall cards, Christmas cards, this die works for any occasion.
I made the flowers with the "Posy Patch" stamps and coordinating dies, and my favorite part shaping them with embossing tools.
Don't you love the detail in the design of the diecut, I do!!!! ;o)
The color of the these metal corners was originally bronze, I just applied some gold Rub'n Buff to change their coloring.

If you have some free time, please stop by the HFC blog for lots of beautiful projects.  Thank you so much for visiting my blog and until next time.

Inks: Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black), Distress Ink (pumice stone), BolorBox Pigment (Chianti), Dew Drop Brilliance (Pearlescent Ivy)
Paper:  Kraft Cardstock, Basic Grey, MME, Provo Craft
Accessories:  Cuttlebug embossing folder (Mary Ann), Stickles (Fruit Punch), ribbon, Rub'n Buff (Grecian Gold), 8 Seasons metal filigree corners, Martha Stewart punch (branch), hand dyed dew drops, pop dots

Instructions:
Size:  6 3/4" x 5"
Make card base from kraft cardstock.  Cut a piece of patterned paper and emboss with embossing folder, ink embossed areas with pumice stone distress ink.  Diecut the "Lace Border" from green patterned paper (I only used a portion of the design), ink edges with distress ink.  Using the basket dies from "Decorative Layered Basket" set, diecut the base basket from kraft cardstock and the top image from blue patterned paper, ink edges with distress ink.  Stamp sentiment on kraft cardstock, trim into banner shape and ink edges.  Stamp 7 leaves on green patterned paper with pearlescent ivy ink using the small single leaf image from "Leaf Medley" set, cut with coordinating die.  Stamp the following flowers on pink paper with chianti ink using the "Daisy Patch" die set; 9 small, 3 next size up, shape all the leaves and flowers with embossing tools.  Adhere everything as pictured, the basket and banner have been adhered with pop dots for dimension.  Punch several branches with the MS punch from kraft cardstock and green patterned paper.  I applied some gold Rub'n Buff to the metal filigree corners since I wanted them to be more gold than bronze tone.  Add some dew drops to the flowers and corners, and some stickles to the flower petals.
