Heartfelt Creations Project

Good morning everyone and welcome to another great Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.  Today I have a fun project with lots of flowers made with, yes, you guessed Heartfelt Creations stamps and coordinating dies.  I started with a little wooden birdhouse from Michaels, painted the whole thing with dark brown acrylic paint, I then put a coat of crackle medium and a final coat of white acrylic paint on the main body of the house.
I glued a wire covered with floral tape in place so I had something to adhere all my leaves and flowers too.
Added some adhesive pearl swirls for extra embellishment.
Here is a closeup of the flowers, added Stickles to the edges of all the petals for sparkle.
I also adhered some bleached babys breath.
Here is a closeup of the front, I love this sentiment, I think it's just perfect for this little project.
I took a bit of work to get the wire to wrap around and over the roof and stay there, but I got it the way I wanted it.
For the tiles of the roof I used the border die from the "Decorative Butterfly-Border" die set, after I cut all the pieces I embossed them with a texture plate from Fiskars for extra texture.
Well, thank you so much for stoping by today, I hope you enjoyed my project, make sure to visit the HFC Blog for tons of gorgeous projects.  Have a great day.

Paint birdhouse with burnt umber acrylic paint and let dry, follow instructions on Crackle medium and apply a coat, apply a coat of white acrylic paint, let dry completely, usually I let dry overnight.  Add a touch of walnut stain distress ink over the white paint.  For the roof, cut 16 strips of brown cardstock 5/8" wide by 4" long, using the border die from the "Decorative Butterfly-Border" set diecut the cardstock using the scalloped side of the die, emboss the strips using the "Scales" texture plate, ink scalloped edges with chestnut ink, adhere to the birdhouse with Mod Podge.
Stamp and diecut with coordinating dies the following;

Ink everything with walnut stain distress ink and shape with embossing tools.  Cut a piece of wire and cover with floral tape, shape and wrap around the front of the birdhouse, adhere with hot glue.  Adhere all your leaves and flowers to the wire as pictured, add adhesive pearl swirls to the birdhouse and pearls to the center of the flowers, apply some stickles to the edges of the flower petals.  Stamp sentiment from "Luscious Cherry Swirls" set on cream cardstock with black ink, ink edges with distress ink shape and adhere.
