Easter Card

I was blog hopping the other day and found this challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and decided to use it for my Easter card I needed to make for Maria.  The image is from a coloring page website, I just brought it up in Photoshop, sized it and printed 4 times.  I printed it on Wausau paper I bought from Michaels the other day, it's bright white, 110 lb. and I got to say works beautifully with the Prismacolor pencils and OMS.
The patterned papers are from a new line called Sweet Nectar from K & Co., this line is full of bright colors, and lots of flowery fun designs.  The "Happy Easter" sentiment stamp is from the "Wrought Iron Cross" PreCut set from Heartfelt Creations.
I made a bow with some pink hand dyed seam binding, which reminds me I have to dye some more, hopefully this weekend.  I made the pin with some pink and silver beads.
I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and OMS, also added some detail with a pink Stardust pen.  As a final touch I added the mini hot pink adhesive pearls from Want2Scrap.
I did four layers, all adhered with pop dots.  First layer is the main image, once printed I cut with the Spellbinders Labels Twenty.  Second layer, I cut the full image of the girl and the little chicks.  Third layer is only the hat and the bow on her braid, and fourth layer is the bow on her hat.  Hope you enjoyed my card,   thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
