Scrap-Mart & Heartfelt Creations Blog Hop Day 5

Good morning and welcome to Day 5 of the Scrap-Mart Blog Hop featuring the beautiful stamps from Heartfelt Creations.  I hope you have enjoyed all the beautiful projects so far, I know I have and I'm looking forward to seeing lots more.  You probably have arrived here from the Scrap-Mart Blog, your next stop will be Peggy Cain's blog, so set back and enjoy.

My first card features this beautiful lighthouse scene, this stamp is called "Harmony of Land & See", I also used the birthday sentiment from the "Inspire Me Sentiments" PreCut set.  I stamped the image on Canson paper and colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS, diecut with Spellbinders Labels Four.  For the background I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder "woodgrain" to emboss the patterned paper, I then added some walnut stain distress ink to the embossed area.  I also added some stickles to the water and the light in the lighthouse.
Supplies:
Stamps: Heartfelt Creations (695F Harmony of Land & See, HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments PreCut Set)

Other: OMS, Stickles (Star Dust, Yellow), MM copper mini eyelest, MM metallic mini brads, Spellbinders (Labels Four), Sizzix embossing folder (Woodgrain), Stampin' Up punch (Designer Label), Martha Stewart border punch (arch lattice), twine, pop dots.

For my second card I have used the "Daffy Daffodils" PreCut set, love all their floral stamps, they are so beautiful.  I stamped the image twice on cardstock and colored with chalks, one image I used for the base the other one I cut the daffodils with the coordinating die from "Springtime Medley", this makes the whole process of cutting flowers so easy and fast.  The background I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder "Heritage", the fancy edge label where I stamped the sentiment I cut with my Cricut and Design Studio.
