You're The best

Here we are Wednesday, it's time for some Heartfelt Creations, my card today has been designed with a gorgeous stamp image from Heartfelt Creations.  This image is from their Scenic Combo PreCut Set, it's the perfect image for any masculine looking card.  I kept the design very simple, the image was stamped and colored with weathered wood distress ink, I didn't want a lot of colors, just wanted to match the blue tones from the patterned paper.  Make sure to visit the HFC blog for lots of beautiful projects and another sneak peek at their new collection "Springtime Medley" releasing on Wednesday January 11, at 12 midnight EST.
Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations
HCPC 3355 Scenic Combo PreCut Set
HCPC 3354 Classic Message PreCut Set
HCD 708 Decorative Window Scene Die

Inks; Memento (Tuxedo Black), Distress Ink (weathered wood)
Image Colored with; Distress Ink (weathered wood)
Paper; Bazzill Cardstock, White Canson "Fanboy" paper, Basic Grey (Motifica)
Other; Stampin' Up Designer Label punch, Stampin' Up ticket corner punch, Stickles (Gunmetal), Glazed Dimensions (Pastel), ribbon, Cricut Machine, pop dots.

Instructions:
Size 6" x 6"
Cut a piece of patterned paper, punch corners with ticket corner punch, ink edges with distress ink, mat on brown cardstock.  Cut a fancy shape from Canson paper to fit image (I used the Cricut machine to cut mine), stamp image with distress ink and shade with the same color, ink edges with distress ink, mat with pop dots on brown cardstock.  Die cut half of the "Decorative Window Scene" die twice, hand cut the two corners to create four custom corners, adhere to matted image as pictured.  Stamp "You're the Best" sentiment on Canson paper, I inked only "You're the" and stamped it, then inked "Best" and stamped under the other words, punch label, ink edges with distress ink, cut slits on both sides and thread ribbon, adhere everything as pictured.  Add some stickles to the edge of the image and label, also apply a touch of glazed dimensions to the water area on the stamped image.
